Full details of the summer 2005 courses to be held in Kilkenny Education Centre have been posted on the website. Places will only be reserved on payment of course fee.
Fís Regional Screening

The regional screening of the Fís films took place in Kilkenny Education Centre on Friday May 20th.
Pupils from the Fís schools came together to view five Films:
- "Never Cry Wolf" by Mother of Fair Love School
- "Girl kicks back" by St Fiacc's 3rd class
- "The Mysterious School" by Graignamanagh 4th Class
- "The Rose" by Stoneyford NS 3rd, 4th 5th and 6th Class
- "The Curse of the Ring" by Lisnafunchin NS 3rd 4th 5th 6th class.
Each school also had a display stand with posters, storyboards and some of the props from their films on view. Some of the actors were present in their film costumes. Transition Year Students from St Kieran's College filmed the event and interviewed many of the main players.
Mike Kelly, Young Irish Film Makers, Anne White National Coordinator NCTE and Ciaran McCormack Creative Director Fís attended. Each participating school was presented with a special certificate from Fís.
The judging panel which had a representative from each school selected two films to go forward for the National Fís awards ceremony which will be held in The Helix on October 24th 2005.
